Hey Fit Fam!
We are entering May, one of my favorite months of the year for many reasons:
My sister is cut from a different type of cloth. She is courageous on so many levels, works hard, and has a green thumb I envy! She lived on another continent for well over a year, and learned a 3rd language (Portuguese).
One of my favorite (and least favorite when I am in the cross hairs LOL) parts is her willingness to confront difficult conversations, and draw strong boundaries. I have struggled to draw boundaries and have difficult conversations with people that need to be had. It is something I have learned to do much better and observing this strong phenomenal woman was part of it. I want to Honor her at this moment.
National Sleep Better AND National Mental Health Awareness Month…couldn’t have arrived at a better time. I was doing SOOO Good January through March, and the last 2 months have been NO BUENO. I fell back into the habit of Screen Time up until close to 9PM. This meant I was not getting even 6.5 hours of sleep, to wake up at 4AM, and run my business until 5 or 6PM often.
What if I told you, we could think more clearly, make decisions based on long term goals, lose more fat (from the mid section specifically) and rely less on caffeine SIMPLY, with nailing 7-8 hours of sleep every night? It is said that QUALITY Sleep is a Super Power waiting to be unlocked. I felt this Super Power when I was on my sleeping game. If you are struggling with getting GOOD sleep, DM me, let's get an accountability group that wants to dial this in for the month. Even Coach P can use a loving push, and a focused team to pursue goals alongside ;-)
Women’s Healthcare Month. Let us put it this way, if it was not for Women, PEOPLE DO NOT EXIST. We are all here because a WOMEN gave birth to each and everyone of us. I want to honor the mothers who brought us into this world.
