It's that time of year and the holidays are around the corner, with this in mind I would like to encourage every single one of you to start thinking long-term and planning for the holidays as far as keeping yourself on track all year round. There will be no better feeling than to know come New Year’s that you are still on track and haven’t lost any progress. First things first, meal planning and creating backup plans for when you are caught in situations that are common for you to find yourself in when it comes to all the yummy food that might come your way. Family is a huge influence and so is culture so I want to approach this from an empathic point of view which is to say I understand almost any culture but mainly American and Mexican are known for having insanely high-caloric foods during the holidays which I’m highly aware of, but that just means you must put on a shield of armor to defend yourself against self-sabotage with the shield of armor being a solid plan to guide you through this holiday season.
