We all have our approach to warming up our bodies and minds when we're getting ready to hit the gym. A warm-up is important to any workout routine because it reduces injury, provides a better range of motion, improves circulation, and enhances performance. Check out Four Ways to Improve your Warm Up to crush your next workout!

Mindset, the pump up: Establish your personalized ritual. Looking at your workout like a special or sacred moment of your day dedicated to you, we want to be engaged & enthusiastic! Maybe you put on the Classic Rocky Song, or your favorite Taylor Swift or Bad Bunny Jam! While getting ready at home or on the drive in the car jamming out, singing at the top of your lungs. Perhaps you have a different approach and prayer or meditation beforehand.

Reduces Pain in Joints: Create time, so you don't rush into your workout. Consider showing up just 5 minutes earlier to your session to Foam Roll around your knees, glutes, chest & shoulder area. This has been a great part of my pre-workout routine and is a Game Changer! While class settings are great fun, we have to remember they are not tailored to one specific person. This is your opportunity to interject a personal approach for a great training experience.

Game-type warm-ups: Shake things up by gamifying your warm-up. Let's think about groups in our Fit-Fam. Builders & Destroyers, Smack, Zen Archer, various types of tag, or Dodge Ball are great ways to get physically & mentally ready for a workout! How many ways can we get laughing, moving, and focused? Don’t be afraid to ask a Coach for fun warm-up types, we will add more of these to wake your sleepy unfocused brain and get in the game!

Pre-Workout Timing: Finish your preworkout 30mins before you begin! Oh, it's evening time and you can’t do caffeine late? Use a Mushroom Complex and Hydrate with Water & Salt, we have PUMP our signature stimulant-free Pre Workout Mushroom Complex.
