5 things to Make Your Running Experience Better

Take a deep breath and focus on a goal in your mind, How far you want to run and if you want to do short intervals of sprints or walking, breathe and envision it in your mind, having a clear goal in mind will set you up for a successful run.

Prep your body,  Stretch out ahead of time, do movements to get your blood flowing, get a nice stretch from your ankles, knees, hips, back, arms and neck. Warming up before your run will allow you to move freely without restrictions of cramping or pain. 

Dress for Success: wear something comfortable to run in, prep for weather YEAR ROUND, regardless of what time of year there is always something you can do to be comfortable during your run.

Pre Game aka Pre-Workout: Stay hydrated by drinking your electrolytes ahead of time, make sure when you wake up and the first thing you do is drink your water or electrolytes, hydration is very important for your body when running because we tend to sweat some of the important minerals the body needs.

 

Honor the Hustle: Cooldown, stretch, moment of gratitude! Taking a moment to stretch out or simply a moment to sit with your thoughts acknowledging what you just accomplished with gratitude will help you feel fulfilled and keep you motivated to keep on going.
